Everyday I ride my pale blue beach cruiser to school. It's about a 3 minute ride, and every time my feet hit those pedals and my wheels begin to rotate on the gravel road,a familiar primary song comes to my mind. The same song. Almost every time. That song is called "I Often Go Walking" and is a song I learned in primary as a young girl. This is my miracle for today. The miracle of the power of uplifting music and the magic it works in our lives because as I ride to and from school my mind isn't bogged down with the stresses of my day, but is uplifted by the inspiration of the poetry of the song.
I often go walking in meadows of clover,
And I gather armfuls of blossoms of blue.
I gather the blossoms the whole meadow over,
Dear Mother, all flowers remind me of you.
Oh Mother, I give you my love with each flower.
To give forth sweet fragrance a while lifetime through.
For if I love blossoms and meadows and walking,
I learn how to love them, dear Mother, from you.
